James R. Bedwell is a Sensei, Business Owner, MindCoach and Performance Coach with over 25 years of experience. Integrating technical skills of NLP, Conversational Hypnosis and physiological coaching disciplines for clients, students and athletes needs.

Through his relentless dedication and pursuit of knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, and martial understanding, Sensei James Bedwell believes to educate students and clients for a better understanding of health, mental awareness, martial arts, and martial sciences. Integrating the mind, body, and spirit, he teaches that there is a synergistic flow between one’s own self and all aspects of our daily lives, these concepts can be applied to “all things”.

Madison Wickham

Madison Wickham is a highly dedicated fitness professional affiliated with 29 Degrees. With a passion for health and fitness, she began in 2018, immersing herself into the physical training and philosophies of martial arts and soon realized her calling to transform her lifestyle into a thriving career. Recognizing the importance of holistic wellness alongside exercise, she firmly believes in implementing comprehensive strategies to attain and sustain a healthy body, both inside and out. An ACE certified personal trainer, AFPA certified holistic nutritionist and 200-hour CYT, Madison possesses a diverse skill set to cater to individual needs.

In addition to her expertise, she is actively competing in Muay Thai and is currently a WKA Northwest Regional Champion, Colorado State Champion, WBC medal recipient, and 2022 Runner-Up at USMTO Fall Championships, showcasing her skills and dedication.

Through her multifaceted approach and relentless pursuit of excellence, Madison aims to inspire others to embrace a holistic approach to health and fitness as an athlete or someone who is simply wanting to improve their quality of life.

Roark Hoitt

Roark Hoitt has been training and teaching at 29 Degrees for over 15 years, specializing in striking/stand up disciplines. Roark is a mentor, a motivator, and a strategist. His training philosophy is built on the fusion of traditional Muay Thai techniques and cutting-edge methodologies, ensuring that our fighters are equipped with a versatile arsenal in the ring.

Beyond the physical aspects of training, Roark instills a mindset of discipline, respect, and resilience in every student. He believes that true mastery of Muay Thai goes beyond the art of striking; it involves the cultivation of mental fortitude, an unwavering commitment to self-improvement and willingness to be a student at every level.

Griffin Kennedy

Griffin Kennedy began training with 29 Degrees in May of 2023. Having practiced Karate and Jiu-Jitsu from a young age, martial arts has always been a major part of his life. After a number of years without training, the Muay Thai Tribe offered Griffin an opportunity to reconnect with his martial discipline and develop as an athlete and a competitor.

In his professional career, Griffin is a six year whole animal butcher and mobile slaughterman operating in the front range of Colorado.

Anima Hoitt

Anima Hoitt is a Denver based artist who has been with the 29 Degrees Dojo for 16 years. Growing up alongside the team and its evolution she has spent countless hours observing and learning from the many members within the group. This unique experience has shaped her artistic identity and her work is a testament to the vibrant spirit to the community that raised her. This group has been a long term source of inspiration, teaching her lessons about the values of family, growth, and dedication to her craft.

Recently taking on the role of assistant to the Muay Thai Tribe, she extends her commitment beyond the canvas. Utilizing her skillset, she contributes to various facets of the team’s operation, from the designing of merchandise to capturing the lifestyle through photography. She is also committed to orchestrating impactful fundraising campaigns as well as marketing. In her pursuit of aiding the team’s journey, she finds profound joy in utilizing her talents to contribute to the team’s success.
